Documents for Loan Interview

Identification

Valid government issued identification- any one of the following:

  • Drivers License
  • Elector Registration ID card (National ID)
  • Passport

Proof of address (not to be older than 6 months)

  • Utility bill in applicant’s name
  • Letter from Justice of the Peace confirming address

Income Verification

  • Job Letter (not to be older than 3 months)
  • Last 3 months pay slips

Credit Worthiness Assessment

  • Signed Consent Form for Credit Bureau Report

Declaration of Assets and Liabilities

  • Proof of assets currently owned – real estate title, status letter from mortgage company.
  • Proof of liabilities – e.g. statement from Credit Union, NHT or financial institutions, if applicable.

Proof of Income for Self-Employed Borrowers

Where applicable, the following is required as proof of income:

  • Audited financial statement or Financial statement done by an Accountant with Tax compliance certificate 
  • to support stated Income.
  • Signed Business Contract where applicable.
  • Bank statements to show evidence of business transactions or income
  • Income & Expenditure projections for the project where applicable.
  • Voluntary Declaration Form (as last resort)

Information for Motor Vehicle Loans

  • Invoice/ Sales Agreement
  • Receipt (if down payment has been made)
  • Valuation Report from approved valuator (Not applicable for brand new vehicle)
  • Fitness, Registration Certificates (for used motor vehicle)
  • Copy of Title both sides (where applicable)
  • Copy of C78/Import Entry for imported vehicle
  • Permission from Trade Board for members who gets duty concession.

Information for Real Estate Loans

  • Signed Sale agreement
  • Up to date property tax receipt
  • Proof of equity
  • Valuation Report from approved valuator
  • Copy of title
  • Surveyor’s Report

Home Improvement:

  • Bill of quantity (home improvement)
  • Contractor’s Estimate

Unsecured Loans

  • All the personal information above
  • Proof of Purpose.
